As common issues are involved in the captioned petitions, with the consent of both sides, the same are hereby disposed of by this common order. For the sake of brevity and convenience, facts are borrowed from CWP-16921-2026.

The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 01.04.2026 to the extent she has not been granted interest on delayed payment of compensation.

The victim suffered electrocution in October' 2023. The petitioner served notice upon respondents seeking compensation in February' 2024. The compensation was released on 01.04.2026. 4.

Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that petitioner is entitled to interest as per Section 4A of Employees' Compensation Act, 1923 (for short '1923 Act'). This Court vide order dated 15.05.2026 in a bunch of petitions including CWP No.39208 of 2025 titled as 'Meena Rani and Another Versus State of Haryana and Others' has already directed respondents to pay interest in the similar circumstances.

On being confronted with aforesaid order, learned counsel representing the respondents expressed his inability to controvert applicability of aforesaid order to the facts of present case. 6.

The petitions stand disposed of with a direction to respondent to pay interest to petitioners @12% per annum in terms of Section 4A of 1923 Act from the date of serving notices to the date of payment. Let the needful be done within six weeks from today. 7.
