The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to restore his electricity connection bearing account No.6227095124. 2.
This is second round of litigation. The petitioner on an earlier occasion approached this Court by way of CWP-9279-2026 which vide order dated 27.03.2026 was disposed of with a direction to respondents to pass fresh order qua penalty for excessive load in the light of judgment of this Court in CWP-35731-2025. Despite order of this Court, the respondents have not passed fresh assessment order. He preferred representation dated 30.03.2026 to the respondents seeking restoration of electricity but to no avail. He served legal notice dated 08.04.2026 upon the respondents for restoration of electricity but the same has not been addressed till date.

Learned counsel for respondent-DHBVN submits that petitioner may be asked to file fresh application which would be considered and connection subject to compliance of terms and conditions of Electricity Act, 2003 and Electricity Supply Code shall be released within seven days from the date of completion of formalities. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to the aforesaid arrangement.
