Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the action of respondents while not selecting / appointing the petitioner for the post of Headmaster, despite being higher in merit than the respondent No. 5.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner, submits that his grievance stands redressed, therefore, present petition be disposed off as having been rendered infructuous. Ordered accordingly.
