**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present writ petition, the grievance which is being raised by the petitioner is that he was entitled for the grant of 3rd ACP on completion of 24 years of regular service, which benefit has not been released to him by the respondents without any valid justification. As per the averments made in the writ petition, keeping in view the Haryana Civil Service (Assured Career Progression) Rules, 2014, amended on 04.03.2014, petitioner becomes entitled for the grant of 3rd ACP after completion of 24 years of service. Petitioner retired on 31.01.2016 and therefore, the grievance of the petitioner is for the consideration of his case for the grant of 3rd ACP as per the instructions issued by the Government of Haryana dated 04.03.2014 (Annexure P-2). From the pleadings, it transpires that for the relief, which has been sought in the present writ petition, petitioner has submitted the representations dated 17.05.2017 and 18.06.2018 (Annexures P-3 and NARESH KUMAR 2019.08.09 12:18 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP-20540-2019 -2P-4) respectively, which are still pending consideration with the respondents.

Interest of justice will be served, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said representations by passing an appropriate speaking order. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and entitlement of the petitioner in respect of the claim made in the writ petition/representations, the respondents are directed to decide the representations dated 17.05.2017 and 18.06.2018 (Annexures P-3 and P-4) respectively, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to him within a period of next three months. Present writ petition stands disposed of.
