The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.70 dated 18.02.2017 registered under Sections 379/411/34 IPC and Section 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, at Police Station Civil Lines, District Amritsar.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court and prays that his bail application be directed to be decided on the same day. 3.

In view of the prayer made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Court that in case the petitioner surrenders on or before 04.08.2023 and files an application for grant of bail, it be decided on the same day, in accordance with law.
