**** SUKHVINDER KAUR , J. (Oral) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that on 16.09.2023 some unknown persons pelted stones and glass at the house of the petitioner. Thereupon, DDR No.22 dated 17.09.2023 under Section 427 IPC was got registered at Police Station Chatiwind District Amritsar. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that again on 07.05.2025 some unknown persons attacked petitioner at Phirni of village Ibban Kalan and gave beatings to him qua which the petitioner had moved representations dated 09.05.2025 (Annexures P-1 & P-2) before ADGP, Chandigarh Punjab and Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar, respectively, but no action has been taken till date. During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he would be satisfied if the representation SANGEETA 2025.05.29 17:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-5753-2025 dated 09.05.2025 (Annexure P-2), which had already been moved before respondent No.4 - The Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar, is looked into.

Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice and submitted that she has not objection if the aforesaid representation dated 09.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) is looked into.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 - The Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar,, to look into the representation dated 09.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) and to take appropriate action, if any required, at the earliest. Disposed of.
