Mr.Yatinder Sharma,Addl.AG Punjab Mr.Ashok Khunger,Advocate for respondent no.9 Mr.Piyush Gagneja,Advocate for respondent no.10 Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Dispute herein relates to partition of land between petitioner and his brother-respondent no.10 which was joint with remaining private respondents. According to the petitioner excess land had been taken for khal from his share than the share of respondent no.10 and that land for khal should have been taken proportionate to the land owned by the parties.

During the course of hearing on 9.12.2014, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as respondent no.10 made a statement that they were not averse to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement of the dispute. Accordingly, the parties were referred to Mediation and Conciliation Center of this Court for an amicable settlement of the dispute between them.

Now as per report dated 30.1.2015 (Flag-A) of the RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2015.03.03 16:47 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CWP 28731/2013 Mediator, parties have settled their dispute by arriving at an compromise dated 30.1.2015 as per terms and conditions contained in the Settlement Agreement annexed with the report of the Mediator. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the parties state that since the parties have amicably settled their dispute in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 30.1.2015 the present writ petition be disposed of in terms of the said Settlement Agreement. In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of in terms of the compromise dated 30.1.2015 arrived at between the parties before the Mediator of this Court.
