(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits at the outset that the petitioner confines his claim only qua solatium and interest under Section 23(2) and 28 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. He submits that the matter in issue is squarely covered by an order and judgment, dated 06.09.2017, rendered by this Court in CWP No. 17010 of 2017 [Vinod Kumar v. State of Haryana and others] and other connected matters. Therefore, the present petition too be disposed of in the same terms. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the court, Mr. P.S. Saini, Advocate, Ms. Rukhsaar Sandhu, AAG, Punjab, and Mr. D.K. Singal, Advocate, accept notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Copies furnished.
