Mz.Sudeepti Sharma,DAG Punjab Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Petitioner,in sum and substance, by filing present writ petition had sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to finalize the seniority list of various officers working in Technical Cadre in Punjab Police. Further prayer was to quash the order dated 11.7.2014(P-7) whereby his representation for such finalization of seniority list of officers working in Technical Cadre has been declined by ADGP, I.T& T,Punjab Chandigarh.

At the time of hearing, learned State counsel states that final seniority list of existing Constables to DSPs (Technical Cadre) has been issued vide letter dated 11.9.2015(copy supplied and taken on record) and as such nothing more is to be adjudicated in the present petition. In view of the stand taken by the learned State counsel, counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to challenge the final seniority list, if so advised. In view of the above,dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
