The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.34, dated 03.03.2020, registered under Sections 406 and 420 IPC, at Police Station Kharar, SAS Nagar.

Status report on behalf of respondent No.1 has been filed by learned State counsel. Same is taken on record. Copy thereof has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Learned State counsel refers to para 6 of the status report, which reads thus:- "That thereafter, the cancellation report in the present case has been prepared under Section 173 Cr.P.C. on 12.07.2023 for the purpose of filing in the Court and same has been sent to the office of the deponent which was further marked by the deponent on 14.07.2023 to the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali for formal approval so that the cancellation report may be filed in the Court." 4.

This satisfies learned counsel for the petitioner who prays for withdrawal of the present petition, at this stage. 5.
