HARSH BUNGER, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present Writ Petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is inter alia; for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing/modification of the order dated 27.10.2017 (Annexure P-1), passed by learned Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Jalandhar whereby, while partly allowing the application for staying the exparte award dated 01.09.2016 (Annexure P-2); the learned Presiding Officer has stayed the operation of the award (Annexure P-2) to the extent of recovery of 50% of back wages.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous, as the claim has been amicably settled with the work-man.
