(ORAL) The petitioner herein seeks the issuance of direction to respondents No.2 to 4 to arrest respondent No.6, arrayed as an accused in the FIR bearing No.86 dated 17.06.2021 registered at Police Station Sadar Ropar, District Ropar, under Sections 420, 406, 120-B IPC, who is involved in many other criminal cases also and he further prays for calling the status-report from the said official respondents. Ms. Samina Dhir, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who has appeared on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4 in this case, in pursuance of the copies of the instant petition having been sent to the respondent-State in advance, apprises the Court that respondent No.5 has already been granted interim protection against his arrest by this Court and as regards respondent No.6, he has also moved an application before the Sessions Judge for seeking the relief of anticipatory bail which is still pending and the appropriate action shall NEETU RANI 2021.10.08 11:03 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document PHHC

be taken after the disposal of the said bail application. In view of the above-discussed submission as made by learned State counsel, it becomes explicit that no cause of action exists in favour of the petitioner, at this stage, to seek the relief as prayed for in this petition.
Resultantly, the present petition stands dismissed accordingly.
