The petitioner prays for grant of pre-arrest bail in a criminal case arising from FIR No. 155, dated 22.09.2020, registered under Section 336, 452, 323, 324, 506, 379-B, 148 & 149 IPC (Section 307 & 450 IPC were added and Section 452 IPC was deleted lateron) and Section 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, 1959, at Police Station Gharinda, Amritsar Rural, Amritsar. As per the case of the prosecution, when the first informant and his wife were standing in front of their shops, Happy, son of Angrej Singh, came in a car and hit the first informant and dragged him to some distance. Thereafter, fire arms as well as sharp-edged weapons were used to cause injuries to both of them. As per the order passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, there are as many as five FIRs pending against the petitioner and his co-accused.
