The limited question for which the petitioner has come up before this Court is for his transfer from District Jail, Sri Muktsar Sahib to any other jail as he is apprehending danger to his life in the said jail.

Counsel for the State has handed over a reply by way of short affidavit dated 11.10.2023, which is taken on record. As per para 2 of the said affidavit, petitioner was transferred to Central Jail, Bathinda from District Jail, Sri Muktsar Sahib, on 16.07.2021. 3.
