The instant petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of aforementioned FIR. 2.

As per the FIR, the petitioners alongwith five other co-accused had inflicted injuries to the complainant. The petitioners are alleged to be carrying 'datar' and are stated to have inflicted injury on the head of the complainant. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the complainant and the accused party are residents of the same village and that with the intervention of the respectables, the matter has been amicably resolved and a separate Pankaj Kakkar 2024.08.14 14:11 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M-33660-2024 (O&M) ( 2 ) petition is also being filed for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise.

At this stage, Mr. S.S. Tiwana, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the complainant and has filed Vakalatnama, which is taken on record. He has endorsed the factum of compromise and has stated that he has no objection in case the petitioners are granted bail.

Learned State counsel opposed the petition on the ground that since serious allegations have been levelled against the accused, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case particularly the fact that the matter is stated to have resolved amongst the parties, the instant petition is accepted and the petitioners, in the event of their arrest, are ordered to be released on bail subject to their furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioners shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
