is her minor daughter who had gone from her home to Gurdwara Sahib at about 4:00 PM on 18.02.2022, but did not come back. She kept on searching for her but could not find her. Then she had checked the CCTV cameras installed in the neighbourhood and found the petitioner while taking away the prosecutrix
with her. She alleged that previously the petitioner used to visit her house with one Ammi @ Amit Kumar but on noticing their act and conduct, she had restrained them from coming to her house from the last one year. On the basis of these allegations, initially a case under Sections 363 and 366-A of IPC was registered. Investigation proceedings were initiated. On 12.04.2022, the victim was recovered from the custody of the present petitioner while he was trying to run away towards the fields from his house along with the victim. The victim as well as accused were medically examined. Statement of the victim under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. was recorded. Offences under Sections 376 and 506 of IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act were added during the course of investigation. After completion of necessary investigation and usual formalities, challan under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. was presented in the Court and presently, the petitioner is facing trial for the commission of the aforementioned offences. 5 !
