(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the respondents not to issue any false Police Clearance Certificate to respondent No.5 showing her to be resident of the house of the petitioner i.e. House No.1113 Buta Mandi, Jalandhar, belonging to the petitioner and his family members.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition. 3.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
