The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.65 dated 21.05.2021, registered under Sections 386, 212, 216, 506 IPC (Charge under Sections 386, 212, 216, 506 and 120-B IPC and Section 25-54-59 Arms Act, 1959 has been framed vide order dated 01.12.2022) and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959 at Police Station Dhanaula, District Barnala.

Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner is involved in about 44 cases and in the present case, out of 20 witnesses, 02 have been given up and 04 have been examined. Custody has not yet started in the present case, in view of the fact that the petitioner stands convicted for life imprisonment in FIR No.133, dated 12.05.2006.

Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition at this stage and issuance of a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial, as it is not proceeding on account of the pendency of the other FIRs. 4.
Ordered accordingly.
