*** JASWANT SINGH, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is stated to retire w.e.f. 31.12.2019 from the rank of Xen, PSPCL on attaining the age of superannuation. The challenge is to the order dated 01.08.2018 (Annexure P-1) whereby he has been transferred from Hoshiarpur to Dasuya. It is urged that as per the transfer policy, minimum tenure of the employee is two years and options are required in case of an employee reaching the age of superannuation within two years. The petitioner was transferred in June, 2017 at Hoshiarpur and has less than two years to superannuate.

This Court, while issuing notice of motion vide order dated 06.08.2018 had stayed the transfer of the petitioner. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the State submits that the transfer of the petitioner stands cancelled vide order dated 09.08.2018 and the applicant-Er. Sarbjit Singh has also been transferred AMIT KAUNDAL 2018.09.21 17:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.19389 of 2018 (O & M) -2from Dasuya to Shahpurkandi vide order dated 21.08.2018 passed by the competent authority.

In view of above, counsel for the parties state that nothing more survives for adjudication in the present writ petition and the same has become infructuous.

Dismissed as infructuous.

Since the main case has been decided/dismissed, no orders are required to be passed in the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, and the same stand(s) disposed of.
