The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhajjar, to expedite the trial of case FIR No.196 dated 21.03.2015 registered under Sections 409, 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, (Sections 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC were added later on), at Police Station Sadar Jhajjar, District Jhajjar.

On the last date of hearing, the following order was passed:- "Notice of motion for 27.07.2023.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. K.K.Chahal, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and seeks time to get instructions from the concerned Senior Superintendent of Police as to whether the prosecution witnesses are going VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2023.07.28 18:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

In compliance of the aforesaid order passed on 21.07.2023, learned counsel for the respondent-State has produced a copy of the order dated 26.07.2023 passed by the Trial Court to the effect that the date fixed before the Trial Court has already been preponed to 05.08.2023 and the material witnesses have been summoned for the said date. It is further submitted by the learned State counsel that the remaining witnesses, if any, would be examined before the Trial Court on the date to be fixed after 05.08.2023.

In view of the above, this Court does not find it appropriate to continue with the present petition.

Dismissed.
