At this stage, Mr. Gaurav Garg Dhuriwala, Senior DAG, Punjab, has accepted notice on behalf of the State. Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Gurmeet Singh, has informed that a cancellation report has been prepared in this case and filed in the Court of Illaqa Magistrate, Bathinda, on 18.9.2020.

It being so, the present petition seeking quashing of the FIR is disposed of, with a direction to the Illaqa Magistrate concerned, to BANITA CHUGH 2020.11.09 12:47 I am the author of this document

CRM-M-36558 of 2020 -2dispose of the cancellation report within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in the said Court. Since this petition is not being decided on merits, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved by the order passed by the Illaqa Magistrate, then he may approach the Court again in accordance with law.
