(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that although FIR No.230, dated 2.5.2019, Police Station Hodal, District Palwal, under Sections 147, 149, 307, 506 IPC was lodged at the instance of the petitioner more than one year back but no effective action has been taken thereupon. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Mini Secretariat (respondent No.2) to ensure that the matter pertaining to the aforesaid FIR is got investigated expeditiously so that a MOHAN SINGH 2020.11.05 17:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

- 2 - CRM-M-35904-2020 (O&M) final report be submitted thereafter at the earliest, preferably within a period of 3 months from today. Further in case the petitioner apprehends any threat to his life and liberty, he would be at liberty to move an appropriate application to the Superintendent of Police concerned seeking protection who shall get the alleged threat perception examined so that necessary steps as warranted may be taken as per law.

A copy of this order be sent to the Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Mini Secretariat (respondent No.2) so as to enable him to do the needful at the earliest.
