By virtue of instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant/disburse family pension to the petitioner being 100% disabled and was fully dependent upon his father, who expired on 03.03.2013.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner served legal notice dated 27.03.2018 (P-4) upon the respondents but till date no conscious decision has been taken. He further submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.3 to decide aforesaid legal notice (P-4), within a stipulated period.
