Gulati, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** SUKHVINDER KAUR , J.(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for directing the official respondents to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that the petitioner is the rightful owner of H. No.1359, Sector 33-C, Chandigarh, but due to some work he had gone to United Kingdom in April 2025 and in his absence the private respondents and their henchmen had illegally taken the possession of his house. When he returned to India in May 2025, and tried to enter premises alongwith his cousin Jaswant Singh Saini, he was manhandled. Now they are continuously threatening and pressurizing the petitioner not to come there again. Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that in this regard, the petitioner had also filed representation dated 27.05.2025 (Annexure P-2) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh, but no action has been taken till date.

CRWP-5830-2025 -2During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner stated that he would be satisfied, in case, the pending representation (Annexure P-2) is decided by respondent No.2. Notice of motion.

Mr. Rohit Mahajan, Addl. P.P. Chandigarh, accepts notice and submitted that he has no objection if the aforesaid representation dated 27.05.2025(Annexure P-2) is decided.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-the Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh, to look into the representation dated 27.05.2025 (Annexure P-2), at the earliest, regarding threat perception and take necessary steps, if any required, in accordance with law, to ensure that the life and liberty of the petitioner is not jeopardized at the hands of the private respondents. However, it will have no effect on any civil or criminal action, which could be initiated in the matter in accordance with law.

Disposed of.
