In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to release the retiral benefits of her deceased husband who expired on 22.12.2022.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the husband of the petitioner who was working on the post of Head Constable expired on 22.12.2022 however, till date no retiral benefits have been released to the petitioner. Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.3 to decide the representation dated 23.03.2026 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner. 3.
