Through the instant civil writ petition, the petitioner has sought direction to the respondents to produce the status report in FIR No.1183 dated 14.12.2016 registered under Section 302 IPC at Police Station Karnal Sadar (Annexure P-1).

It is contended that the son of the petitioner aged about 19 years was killed by some unknown persons. Though, FIR No.1183 dated 14.12.2016 was registered but no action has been taken by the police till date.

In compliance of the order dated 04.12.2018 passed by this Court, a status report has already been filed wherein it is mentioned that on the directions of Superintendent of Police, Karnal the matter was re-investigated. Brij Bhushan and Kishan Verma were joined in the investigation. A polygraph test was conducted and the suspected SANJAY 2019.07.16 17:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.19455 of 2018 (O&M) persons were found to be innocent. During investigation, it transpired that one Vikash and son of the petitioner had met with an accident and they died on the spot.

In view of the status report, no further action in the matter is required.
