***** VIKAS BAHL, J (ORAL) This is a civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order/letter dated 27.12.2017 (Annexure P-2) issued by respondent No.6 whereby it has been directed that the pay orders earlier signed by the Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat shall be signed by respondent No.7.
Learned State counsel has submitted that as per the reply filed by the State, letter dated 27.12.2017 has been withdrawn, vide order dated 10.04.2018 (Annexure R-5). It is further submitted that the tenure of the present Gram Panchayat has also expired and thus, the present petition has become infructuous.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
