On 25.07.2023, following order was passed by this Court:- "The petitioner through the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents No. 3 and 4 to issue passport of the petitioner.

The petitioner vide application dated 10.04.2023 has applied for passport. The present petition has been filed through mother because petitioner is less than two years old. The petitioner is in the custody of his mother and she, as required, has filed Annexure "C" with the application seeking passport.

Ms. Saigeeta Srivastva, Advocate for Union of India, who on advance notice is present in Court, seeks time to file status report.
