Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents to pay the salary of ` 57,700 per month alongwith arrears instead of ` 35,400 per month to the petitioner being eligible Extension Lecturer, in view of guidelines, dated 04.03.2020, Annexure P-3 and 02.11.2023, Annexure P-7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before respondent No.2. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to decide her pending representation dated 10.06.2024, Annexure P-8, in a specified period.

Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, submits that the pending representation, dated 10.06.2024, shall be decided by respondent No.2 expeditiously.

In view thereof, without going into merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Director General Higher Education, Haryana, to consider and decide the pending representation, dated 10.06.2024, Annexure P-8, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.
