Through instant petition, preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the retiral benefits viz. gratuity, leave encashment, pension etc. along with interest @ 18% per annum from the date it became due till its realization. As well as to pay full salary for the post of Junior Engineer w.e.f. 06.01.1982 to 14.07.1982 and to pay difference of full pay, initial basic pay of different intervals mentioned in head note of petition and arrears thereof.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner moved representation dated 13.06.2018 (P-20) to the respondents but till date no final decision has been taken. He further submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents to decide aforesaid representation (P-20), within a stipulated period.

Instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent(s) particularly respondents No. 2, 3 and 6 to complete the service book and take a conscious decision on the representation (P-20), within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to have recourse to the remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
