Instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing impugned order dated 06.05.2022, Annexure P-2, passed by respondent No.2, whereby the firearm license of the petitioner has been suspended.

State counsel has placed on record a copy of order passed by respondent No.2, which has been endorsed to the petitioner vide No.1480/PLA, dated 11.09.2024, to submit that the firearm license has been revoked/cancelled. He submits that petitioner has remedy of filing of appeal against the said order under Section 18 against the Arms Act, 1959. 3.
In view thereof, prayer made in the petition has become infructuous. 4.
Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. 5.
Liberty is granted to the petitioner to avail the statutory remedy, if so advised.
