RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court praying for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 to 5, 8 and 9 to allow the petitioner being the elected Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat having full quorum to freely discharge his duties and conduct the business as per the objects of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994. It is further prayed to quash letters dated 06.08.2020, Annexure P-5, 14.10.2020, Annexure P-11, issued by respondent No.4 for initiating inquiry against the petitioner on the complaint of respondent No.12, who has no locus standi to move a complaint for not being a registered voter of the Gram Sabha. It is also prayed to direct the respondents to decide representations, dated 05.10.2020, 05.10.2020, 30.07.2020, 15.09.2020 and 05.10.2020, Annexures P-8, P-9, P-4, P-6 and P-10 respectively. It is also prayed to stay the inquiry proceedings pending before respondent No.7 initiated vide letters dated 06.08.2020 and 14.10.2020, Annexures P-5 and P-11.

CWP-18793-2020 -2Learned State counsel, on instructions, has submitted that grievances of the petitioner has already been redressed as requisite payment has already been made.
