Status report by way of affidavit of Mr. Gaurav Sharma, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Barwala, District Hisar, has been filed by learned State counsel on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 along with Annexures R-1 to R-3 in Court today, which is taken on record. 2.

Learned State counsel on instructions from DSP Gaurav Sharma submits that the statements of the petitioners as well as respondent No.5 have been recorded and there is no threat perception. 3.

Apparently, the petitioners are in a mysterious relationship as petitioner No. 1 is a married woman and is the wife of respondent No.5 and she still chooses to be living in a live-in relationship with petitioner No.2. It was made clear on the very first date that, in case, it is found that there is no threat perception to the petitioners, the petitioners will be burdened with the cost of at least Rs. 50,000/-. 5.

However, today learned counsel for the petitioners prays for withdrawal of the present petition and also for reduction of cost. 6.

Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed, subject to payment of cost of Rs.10,000/- to be deposited by the petitioners jointly within in one month from today in the following account: Account Name - Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association Lawyer's Family Welfare Fund.
