Only grievance of the petitioner is that on the delayed refund of the tax, statutory interest has not been paid to him. The petitioner had earlier approached this Court by filing CWP No.5702 of 2018 claiming refund of amount due. As during the pendency thereof, amount of tax was refunded, the petitioner was given liberty to approach the authorities concerned for claim of interest. The petitioner made a representation on 25.05.2018 and even he got a legal notice dated 06.06.2018 issued to the authorities, however, till date, no response has been received. After hearing counsel for the petitioner, we are of the view that the present writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide the claim made by the petitioner in the application dated 25.05.2018 and legal notice dated 06.06.2018 got issued by the petitioner,
