Petitioner, who is working as Fireman with the respondents had filed this writ petition seeking promotion to the post of Sub Fire Officer with effect from the date his juniors have been promoted on 3.1.2017. Notice of motion was issued.
At the time of hearing, counsel for the petitioner states that the present writ petition has become infructuous as the petitioner stands promoted to the post of Sub Fire Officer. Learned State counsel does not dispute the said stand of the learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the above,present writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
