This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members from the hands of the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has preferred a representation/complaint dated 21.05.2025 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) against private respondents No. 4 to 12 but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural to look into her representation/complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) to consider and decide the representation/complaint dated 21.05.2025 (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
