***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Petitioner prays for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to issue Grade 'A' certificate to him. In view of letter dated December, 10, 1997, Annexure P-4, annexed with the petition, it has been urged before the court that petitioner represented the country in Power Lifting Sub-junior Championship in Hong Kong in July, 2015. In view of the fact that the petitioner won a bronze medal, as he got IIIrd position, he is entitled to Grade 'A' certificate. Respondents have arbitrarily granted him Grade 'C' certificate.

Learned State counsel, however, submits that petitioner has already made a represented to a higher authority i.e. Secretary, State Sports Department & Sports Council, Punjab, (respondent No.1 herein). He submits that the matter would be looked into by the said authority and fresh order as per rules would be passed expeditiously in any case not later than one month.

In view of the above, no further direction is necessary. Disposed of.
