The petitioner claims interest for the delay in payment of 20% of the compensation awarded for the acquisition of his property. His reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 was, however, filed for enhancement in which the petitioner also claimed interest on the same grounds. The Tribunal, however, rejected the claim for interest. That order has attained finality.
