Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 5 to give appointment to the petitioner.
On 22.01.2015, following order was passed by this Court:- "Learned counsel for the respondents submit that no candidate lower in merit than the petitioner has been appointed.
Faced with the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks an adjournment to file additional affidavit of the petitioner.
KAPIL 2016.02.08 16:55 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document CWP-3209-2013 [2] *** On his request, adjourned to 8.5.2015."
Till date, petitioner has failed to file his additional affidavit in pursuance to the above order.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, although, he has telephonically contacted the petitioner but he has failed to approach him to file additional affidavit. It appears that petitioner is not interested in pursuing his case. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
