Let three copies of the writ petition be supplied to learned State counsel during the course of day failing which this order shall be automatically recalled and the writ petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed for non-prosecution.

In view of the nature of order which we propose to pass, it is not necessary to seek any counter-reply from respondent Nos.1 to 3 or to serve respondent No.4 at this stage.

The petitioners seek a mandamus for inclusion of the qualification of National Trade Certificate with Craft Instructor Training Course as an essential qualification for appointment to the post of Computer Mohinder Kumar Kamboj 2017.01.09 11:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

We have heard learned counsel for the parties. Though it is for the Competent Authority to prescribe qualification for a post keeping in view the nature of duties, responsibility and pay-structure etc., but having regard to the averments made by the petitioners that for hundreds of other trades such qualification has been prescribed, we dispose of this writ petition without expressing any views on merits, with a direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to treat this writ petition as representation on behalf of the petitioners and take an appropriate decision as early as possible and preferably within a period of four months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
