G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioner, in the present writ petition, seeks the monetary benefits of the promotional post of Fitter w.e.f. 29.09.2009 till his retirement on 31.07.2015 alongwith all consequential benefits. The pleaded case of the petitioner is that vide order dated 29.09.2009 (Annexure P-1), he was promoted from the post of Charge Fitter Coolie to a Fitter by respondent no. 3. He had been transferred a week earlier to the office of respondent no. 4 at Rajpura, from where, he has now superannuated on 31.07.2015. He has been given the retiral benefits as a Fitter Helper but not as a Fitter.
Counsel for the petitioners submits that for the redressal of his grievances, representation has been served upon respondent no. 3 on 13.09.2015 (Annexure P-5) but the same is pending consideration and he would be satisfied if a time bound decision is taken on the same. Notice of motion.

CWP No. 25911 of 2015 respondents. Copy of the writ petition has been supplied to him in Court. Keeping in view the limited relief sought, this Court is of the opinion that there is no need for the respondents to file reply. Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 3 to decide the representation dated 13.09.2015 (Annexure P-5) within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. In case the petitioner is found entitled for the said benefit, the same be granted to him within 2 months thereafter. Needless to say if the relief is to be denied, a reasoned order be passed and conveyed to the petitioner. 11.12.2015 (G.S.
