Petitioners have sought refund of demurrages charged from them as detailed in annexure P2 (colly). He also submitted a representation dated 04.06.2014, Annexure P-5 in this regard. However, no decision has been taken thereon. At the outset, Mr. Puri learned counsel representing the Corporation submits that matter can be considered by the Dispute/Grievance Redressal Committee.

Under the circumstances, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file a detailed representation before the Committee within two weeks from today. The Committee shall consider the same and take appropriate decision thereon at the earliest, in any case not later than three months. If necessary, opportunity of personal hearing be also afforded to the petitioner.
