Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to furnish requisite sets of writ papers to the learned counsel for the respondents-UOI during the course of the day.
Petitioner is a candidate for recruitment to the post of Airman (Group-X). Petitioner was subjected to medical examination on 10.7.2017 and medical authorities found that petitioner is suffering from two defects i.e. (i) DNS (RT) and (ii) FLAT FOOT (B/L) and he was subjected to review medical on 19.8.2017 and review medical authorities have Anju Goel 2024.04.02 13:56 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Mr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, Sr.Panel Counsel submits that the petitioner was declared medically unfit in 2017. All the vacancies arising out of advertisement in question have already been filled up. The Government has introduced scheme of Agniveer Vayu w.e.f. May 2021, thus, the petitioner at this belated stage cannot be considered.

In view of peculiar facts and circumstances, the substantial relief cannot be extended to the petitioner, thus, the present petition without commenting upon merits of the case, is hereby dismissed.
