Prayer in the present petition, filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.306 dated 21.10.2020 registered under Sections 381, 406, 408, 457 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Kathu Nangal, District Amritsar (Rural).

Vide order dated 04.06.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join investigation. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 04.06.2025, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute.

Status report by way of an affidavit of Pawan Kumar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Majitha, Amritsar, has been filed by learned State counsel, which is taken on record. 5.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is no more required for further investigation.

In view of the above, interim order dated 04.06.2025 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 482

(2) B.N.S.S.
