SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent No.4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.3 to look into the representation dated 27.05.2025 (Annexure P-3), within a time bound manner. In view of the above, without commenting upon the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3/ Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into the representation dated 27.05.2025 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same in accordance with law after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners within a period of four weeks by passing a speaking order. The CDR, which is attached to the present petition shall also be considered during the course of considering the above-said complaint.

A copy of order so passed be supplied to the petitioners within three days thereafter.
