# Learned counsel for the petitioner states that at this stage, he does not press his prayer for quashing of the order/circular dated 7.8.2010 (Annexure P)2).
Relying on Section 7 of the Punjab Privately Managed Recognized Schools Employment (Security of Service) Act, 1979, the grievance of the petitioner is that he is being paid lesser salary than the teachers working in the Government Schools. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Section 7 of the Act provides that pay and dearness allowance of the employees of the Privately Managed Recognized Schools should not be less than those

* + of the employees of the State Government holding corresponding posts in the schools run by the State Government. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in terms of the aforesaid provision, a responsibility is cast upon the Director of the Private Aided Schools to ensure that the pay)scales of employees of such schools are at par with the employees of the schools being run by the State Government.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further states that the petitioner has already submitted a representation/legal notice (Annexure P)5) raising her grievance, and, at this stage, she shall be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.3 to decide her claim in terms of the mandate of Section 7 of the aforesaid Act. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner, as contained in the representation/ legal notice (Annexure P)5) in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 of the Act, within three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
