*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct respondent No.2 to decide the pending appeal No.54 of 2021 (Smt. Rupinder Kaur vs. Director, Rural Development and Panchayats Department) in a time bound manner. The petitioner claims that she has filed an appeal under Section 20(6) of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, on 19.05.2021 which is not being decided.

Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner prayed for a limited relief, therefore, it is considered appropriate to request the learned Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, Punjab, to hear and decide the pending appeal within a period of two months positively.
