The challenge in the instant revision petition is to the order dated 08.07.2019 passed by learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Amritsar whereby defence of the petitioner/defendant has been struck off due to non-filing of written statement despite last opportunity. 2.

Although notice in the present case was issued on 29.07.2019, however, respondents No.1 and 2 have not been served till date as learned counsel for the petitioner has failed to give their correct addresses despite passing of orders dated 26.09.2019, 27.11.2019, 24.11.2022 and 27.07.2023.

None had put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner on 27.07.2023 and the case was adjourned for today by granting last opportunity. Even today also no one is present on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is not interested to further pursue the present petition.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
