*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) Through this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the orders dated 22.03.2021 and 09.09.2021 passed by the Director and the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayat, Punjab, respectively. The petitioner was suspended from the elected office of the Sarpanch by the Director on 22.03.2021. The appeal filed by the appellant has also been dismissed.
Learned State counsel has informed the Court that the report in the final inquiry has been received and the Director is proposing to pass the final order.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a copy of the report of final inquiry be provided to the petitioner. Learned State counsel has no objection.

As the report in the final inquiry has been received, therefore, it is not appropriate for this Court to exercise its extraordinary jurisdiction. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of by requesting the Director to pass a final order in accordance with the provisions of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, within a period of 15 days positively.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. All the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, are also disposed of.
