This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to the learned Trial Court to decide the trial in FIR No.132 dated 21.08.2020 under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station City Jalalabad, District Fazilka.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the present petition has since been rendered infructuous as the petitioner stands acquitted vide judgment dated 13.10.2023. As per the E-courts website of District Court, Fazilka also, the petitioner stands acquitted vide judgment dated 13.10.2023 passed by the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jalalabad. 3.
